Parents, Players, and Coaches

The Governor of Utah has extended the precautions currently in place to help our state be proactive and not reactive to the Corona / CoviID-19 virus. Our league will continue being responsible members of the community by following the State precautions.

The following has been implemented by the county and state. Until further notice there will be no county facilities until May 1st. As I said before, this could be shorter or longer, depending on what is happening with the spread of the virus. This means that there will be no practices until further notice and the start of our season will be delayed until at least May 1. We do plan on playing a full season of baseball, it’s just getting a delayed start this year. Keep practicing at home with your players.

Coaches and teams All team practices should be discontinued in accordance with State recommendations, until we hear otherwise from the state. At some point, we may be able to hold restricted practices. However, I don’t know when that will be.

Parents Ultimately, our biggest concern is for the safety and well-being of your children. Practice with them at home.

Those of you who are worried about the impact on our season. We anticipate that some things may need to be adjusted but we intend to play a full season of baseball. We will keep you posted of any changes.
